Bonjour...in Montreal

i will keep this post short & sweet...

Although the weather is a little dreary, Montreal is so beautiful.  I visit at least 3 or 4 times a year.  This is our first time for the year and we're already booked again for July's jazz festival.  Tomorrow we're going to Montreal's Festival Mode and Design.  It's fashion week.  Timing couldn't be more perfect.

My birthday couldn't have been more perfect.  Yesterday we celebrated at my favorite Napoleon restaurant.  The waiter brought out my dessert with a huge sparkler. We visited my favorite papeterie and just a few stores down to my delightful discovery, a new cupcake shop opened.  Visit Les Glaceurs (glaces & cupcakes) at 453, rue Saint-Sulpice Vieux-Montreal.  They also carry macaroons to die for. I bought raspberry, caramel and passion fruit.  Passion fruit was the winner

More pictures and post to write when I return. Au revoir...

I dont have your email address, so maybe you can private message it to me?
In the meanwhile, I can suggest you a coupla places to visit...

In the old port, theres Chez Suzette for great crepes. I think its located on the corner of Notre-Dame and University (although I could be wrong... so just google map it for accuracy). They only do crepes... so you have a million good choices (I suggest the toffee cream, really good and surprisingly not oversweet).

If the weathers nice, you should visit Jardin Nelson for their indoor terrasse. Pretty.

If you want good steak, warm dark ambiance, theres Gibby's. Popular for the bowl of pickles they serve while you wait for your food.

Btw, all 3 are located in the Old Port, for convenience.
