| One more day is left before the new year begins. It's been a rough 2008 especially with the loss of my baby son just a month and 18 days ago. We were grateful for the love and support of family and friends. We know that little Jacob November is in heaven now. The few hours of his life made me a proud parent even if it's for a day. So with a new year around the corner I'm back to work.
One day I will share a testimony. In November's remembrance I've created a baby bereavement card & keepsake line. The proceeds will go to an organization called NILMDTS. For those interested in finding out more, please feel free to email me here.
Also, with Spring & Summer weddings around the corner... I'm offering a special discount for brides anywhere in the U.S. I understand the economic times have been rough and would like to offer my collection at an affordable cost. You can view my collection here.Starting price begins $245 for 100 letterpress invites (in collection). Please note custom plates are separate costs. For anyone who orders letterpress wedding invitations until March 27th I will be donating 30% to Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep organization in baby Jacob's memory. Please email here for more info.
We recently moved closer to Boston and were grateful to have our friends visit our new home. See photo below. Wishing you all a happy, healthy new year.

It's been awhile since I posted. Recently I printed wedding invitations and the results were breathtaking! I don't
want to spoil it for the bride so I only gave you a glimpse. This was
designed by T.M. and had full bleeds on top and bottom. The vines
reflecting each other made the invitation look very elaborate. Lately
I've been hit with all the Fall brides and it's been real busy. I'm
glad I was able to hit the beach at Martha's Vineyard before summer's
end.
So...I've been studying French ever since I joined the
French Library. Today I've been singing Kids (Jeu Du Foulard) by
Coralie Clement. I can't wait to visit Paris again someday soon

| It's been awhile so i figured I will try my best to sum up my month of June/July in 1 post. There were so many photos to choose from but here's a few just for now. After a successful trade show we drove to Montreal for my birthday. It's my 7th time (i think) and I got to visit all my favorite places! I discovered more new favorite spots which I'll post in the future. Montreal is one of my favorite cities to visit next to Paris. This year E surprised me with a membership to the French Alliance Boston library & social events. I promised myself I would perfect the language + perhaps one day I will retire in Paris ;)

One of my favorite things to do when I visit my home in nyc is check out new eats + desserts (of course!) After my business mtg, my friend Maria and Ginny ate at Le Pain Quotindien. The ricotta w/ mission fig, honey & black pepper tartines were out but instead we got organic black bean hummus w/ spicy tahini and gazpacho soup. Mrs Shagalove was so sweet to take the time to give a few recommendations which I will certainly check out in the future. Then we tried kyoto-fu for desserts. These ladies are talented. Ginny is from food + wine magazine (and a beautiful singer). Maria is a fashion designer. It was so good to see you both!

While in NY I had to visit the Renegade Fair in Brooklyn. Sunhee made a 1 day trip from Boston just to see lotta jansdotter but she didn't show up :( It was great meeting my friend Tara at ink + witt. Shortly afterwards we were caught drenched in the rain. I don't usually visit Brooklyn but I had an awesome time discovering new places. To name a few: Brooklyn industries, janelle, pinkyotto, pema and my absolute favorite! catbird. A must visit place for all your accessories and small finds. Then we trekked back to the city and waited out the rain in the strand bookstore. Endind the day at Republic + tisserie at union sq.

Just last week Jill from jhill designs organized a bloggers ball in Boston. All the bloggers were fashionable + pretty. I just love going to these because you get to see everyone's personal style. Grace, one of my favorite bloggers and perhaps every designer's favorite blogger was there. I invited my friends at pinker green design studio. Jill thanks for organizing such a great event! There were tons of cheese, wine and desserts to choose from. If anyone who is a designer is from boston and blogs, please email me for more info.

And last but not least...Saturday Jenny & Paul hosted a lobster luncheon which E and Helen + Norm's family won at church. You guys did a fab job. I highly recommend people at Bethany to win this auction. Here's a sneak peak of some of the photos. It was so good to catch up and enjoy the 2 bottles of wine! Helen it was so nice finally meeting you too.

lil' shouts... It was great catching up w/ everyone at Bethany too.
Christine donated several bulbs from the Wellesley Arboretum for my mom. (thank you!) Hye young, can't wait to see you for dinner this week. Jenny, we'll have to see kung fu panda soon + of course grab some sweets :P Maria - it was soooooo good to see you again. Hope your leg heals soon - God speed! Ginny + Helen, I'm so blessed to meet new people everyday. You guys are sweet. Kelley + Melissa, i'm so glad you guys are just down the block. Everytime I get my dose of caffeine, it's nice I can always pop my head in your stylish studio. Tara + Jill - i know it hasn't even been that long from the show. But I miss you guys! Sunhee - i have much to thank you for! To my lil' big bro- i miss you! we have to catch up for lunch my next visit. E - thank you for such a wonderful trip + a great vacay.

| i will keep this post short & sweet...
Although the weather is a little dreary, Montreal is so beautiful. I visit at least 3 or 4 times a year. This is our first time for the year and we're already booked again for July's jazz festival. Tomorrow we're going to Montreal's Festival Mode and Design. It's fashion week. Timing couldn't be more perfect.
My birthday couldn't have been more perfect. Yesterday we celebrated at my favorite Napoleon restaurant. The waiter brought out my dessert with a huge sparkler. We visited my favorite papeterie and just a few stores down to my delightful discovery, a new cupcake shop opened. Visit Les Glaceurs (glaces & cupcakes) at 453, rue Saint-Sulpice Vieux-Montreal. They also carry macaroons to die for. I bought raspberry, caramel and passion fruit. Passion fruit was the winner
More pictures and post to write when I return. Au revoir...
